Part interchange ability between Chevy Celebrity's and other "A" body cars is fairly limited. The next closest relative of the Celebrity is the Pontiac 6000. Some engine and transmission parts are interchangeable, but body parts in particular are not readily interchangeable.

Transmission is not shifting when car is warmed up.

my 96 lincolntown car wont go in gear and the abs system light comes on

It is important to use the correct amount of fluid in a car. The 1988 Acura Legend takes about 3.2 quarts of transmission fluid.

Under the rear of the car on the side of the transmission.

They looked similar but they were in fact a bit different from each other, and as such not interchangeable.

some are. it depends on what car you have and what the other whels are off of

transmission fluid is checked with the car cooled off -never when running-(daddmac)

The 1988-1992 1.6 Engines are interchangeable. The automatic engines can also be used, but you'd need to use your flywheel in place of the flexplate. The distributor for either engine is interchangeable, however, there were two different distributors used. The later style has a nice, single plug-type connector, while the older 1988 connector has separate wires with spade connectors. If you use your existing distributor, it will work with your existing wiring harness and all will be good. Not for you, but in case someone reads this who has the automatic transmission. To use an engine with a manual transmission in an automatic car, there is an ear that you may have to remove (grind) from the block to get the transmission to mate up. It will be obvious when you try it.

" My transmission to my car broke, and I missed the party." " I need to get my transmission fixed on my car." " My favourite word is transmission." " My dad's favorite word is transmission." " When will you get that transmission on your car fixed?" " How do you put transmission in a sentence?" Dude, I think you got it..

Not the same items are interchangeable, but little things you don't notice like cellphone chargers, batteries, and car engines are catagorized as interchangeable parts.

Basicly any general motors production rwd car /truck / suv between those years used that transmission at one point.

There's 2 things your question could mean. 1. Can I put a brand new transmission that is identical to the one I already have in my car? 2. Can I put a transmission from a newer vehicle(that is different from your vehicle's) in my car? Answer 1. If the transmission you want to put in is the same transmission you are taking out, then yes you should have no problem changing them out. Answer 2. If the transmission was not made for your car, then you would have to check to see if the bolts mounting the engine and transmission would line up. For example, I took the tranny out of my 88 Ford Bronco and put it in my 92 ford ranger. They both had six bolts in the same pattern so they were interchangeable. If the bolts do not line up, the transmission would not fit and would be a waste of your time. But if you can't find how many bolts there are, it would probably be best to take your car to a shop.

Standing in the front of the car. Look to the left far rear. It'll have a yellow top.

The dip stick where you check the transmission fluid. You will need a funnel. On mine if you are standing in front of the car looking at the motor the dip stick is on the right in front.

If your car won't move, your transmission is blown. If there is transmission oil underneath your car, you have a leak.

To do a transmission flush, first read the manual to your car. You will find out when you will need to do a transmission flush and how to do a flush.

where do you put transmission oil in a standard car?

where is the transmission dip stick on a 2001 bmw car

the transmission check point is under the car on the drivers side of the transmission. you need a 16mm spanner and you need to check it when the transmission is hot. and the car running. if you check the transmission when the car is at operating temp with the car switched off, the level will be down. the car must be in the park position.

would an automatic transmission car jerk when shifting after having had a transmission flush

When was the last time you serviced the Transmission. Pull out the dipstick on the transmission while car is running with the transmission in park. and check the fulid level is it full of fluid?, if so smell the fluid does it stink or look dark? Then this may be all you need to do is take it to a Shop and let then service it for you.

All of them are interchangeable but if you mean moved around on the car some bulbs tires rims lugs knobs some rotors some lines screws and bolts not much more
