It is located on the driver's side of the transmission toward the front of the transmission. You can identify it by the plastic hydraulic line that is attached to it.
The speed sensor in located in the front of the motor. You can find it near the transmission and the engine split line on the Jetta.

For a 1983 F150, the transmission dipstick is?æsticking out of the transmission. The transmission is located at the rear left side of the in-line engine.
The filter is located inside the transmission. Access is gained by removing the transmission fluid pan on the bottom of the transmission.
From the passenger side,get under truck and look at side front of transmission,theres a hole in transmission with a rubber cover and the slave cylinder is bolted onto it with 2 bolts and the clutch fluid line is attached to the slave cylinder,if bad,then it will be leaking.
In the transmission cooler line. Two wire connector

located right on front and top of transmission. Just below and to the left of the airfilter housing. Just follow the vacuum line from front top of intake, right down to transmission, driver side. Pretty easy to find really. Screw it out, screw new one in. Why do you want to replace the modulator valve? I believe this is a electronic shift transmission
It is either screwed into the pressure line on the side of the transmission, or it is inside on the valve body.
