I believe it was the Creeks land they shared with the Seminoles.
Seminoles
The five civilized tribes of the whites (The Cherokees, Creeks, Choctaws, Chickasaws, and Seminoles)occupied sizable tracts of land in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. The Portions of these tribes had accepted the teachings of the white missionaries and had accepted Christianity, white inventions, and even the concept of slavery.
The Seminole tribes originally lived in Florida
Choctaws, Chickasaws, Creeks, Seminoles, & the Cherokee were the largest civilized tribes.
the seminoles houses were made of hay and poo
The Oklahoma and Florida Seminole Tribes never signed a treaty with the U.S. They are independent nations.
They all were relocated to Oklahoma and the tribes were the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole.
yes they lost their land in the Indian Removal Act.
By and large, the federal government. Some of the states also benefited greatly. When the tribes were relocated, in many cases, if their land was not simply incorporated out from under them, the various governments bought the land cheap.
They happened, because the south was afraid of an uprising from the runaway slaves joining with the Seminoles, and because the Seminoles refused to move off their land.
The Seminoles rejected the U.S. government's proposal to rejoin the two tribes for removal primarily due to their desire to maintain autonomy and resist forced relocation. They feared that merging with another tribe would dilute their identity and culture. Additionally, past experiences with treaties and forced removals fostered distrust towards the government, leading them to oppose any plans that threatened their sovereignty and land in Florida.
I doubt that they did. As much as I learned, they come from Asia. During the ice age, there was a land bridge that the Natives followed, and then they came to America.
