Troodon was a very peculiar animal, and so paleontologists and scientists are in disagreement over what it ate. Most think it was a carnivore, and so ate other dinosaurs, eggs and reptiles. However, others suggest, because of its similarities with omnivorous lizards today, it was an omnivore, and so ate both plants and animals.
Troodon was a small, omnivorous dinosaur. Animals that Troodon would have eaten include lizards, small mammals, and amphibians, as well as eggs. The shape of Troodon teeth and jaws shows that they were also adept to eat some plants.
