Conn 12B with copper bell, In fact his whole Trumpet section at one time played that trumpet.
A monette trumpet with a monette mouthpiece
you just put on your mouth and buzz. its that simple. trust me i play the trumpet in the Avon marching band.
first, make your lips like your about to say the letter "m". Place the mouthpiece in your Trumpet and on to the center of you mouth. If your to far off this could develop into a bad habit and make you sound worse. Then buzz with you lips like your imitating a fart or a bee into your mouthpiece. if any sort of sound comes out then there you go! that's how you play the trumpet. If you wish to learn how to play the trumpet for individual/group contact andrewscottmusic.com
yes you could but you might get chocolate inside the trumpet and in your mouthpiece making a big mess. So the smart thing would be to brush your teeth or not eat chocolate before you play a trumpet.
Very generally speaking, a larger mouthpiece allows more air to be put into the trumpet, which can result in a fuller sound. Also, in a general sense, the shallower the cup ot the mouthpiece, the easier it is to play higher notes.

There's no such thing as a "lead" trumpet mouthpiece which is substantially different from any other trumpet mouthpiece. The "Lead" moniker is simply added to make it attractive to players who believe that it will make them play as good as a lead player. You should purchase a mouthpiece based on your own experience, embouchure and mouth and teeth placement.

There are two parts to the answer. First, the way you play higher is to speed up the air that you are blowing through it. Having said that, second, as a general rule, the shallower the mouthpiece, the easier it is to play higher.
Using lots of air pressure and practice. I have a friend who can play high f on the trumpet on a 7c mouthpiece. It is possible and i have gotten to a d just keep trying !!
The trumpet is much smaller than the tuba, hence it has a higher pitch.
A trumpet player will probably be able to make a sound on the trombone, but a lack of skill in using the relatively large mouthpiece on a trombone will result in a low quality sound at best. Plus, playing a valved trumpet will usually not make for an easy experience trying to learn a slide trombone. For a bit of fun, ask a trombone player in your band if you can try his instrument out. Try using your trumpet mouthpiece to see what it's like.
A bass trumpet sounds in the register of a baritone, exactly one octave below that of a normal b-flat trumpet. The bore size (diameter of the tubing) of the bass trumpet is considerably greater than that of a normal b-flat trumpet, and the bell size and slide length will all be similarly increased. The mouthpiece of the Bass Trumpet also resembles a Trombone/Baritone mouthpiece.
It most likely won't play because you put a valve in back words or not in properly, to get your mouthpiece out there's a special tool to get it out, you can find that tool probably at any music store or you can just take your trumpet to the shop and they will take it out.
