Any material we might imagine can be found as a gas (or even a plasma) if it has enough thermal energy. Cool it sufficiently to extract heat and it will become a liquid. Cool it even more and it will become a solid. Only helium will not become solid if we cool it as far as we can. Everything else we know of can be caused to change state and appear as a gas, liquid or solid.
These are all physical changes (not chemical ones), and there are many examples we might cite that show this is true. If we consider water, it can be found as a gas or vapor, and by cooling it we'll get it condense into a liquid. Rain is water that has changed state from a gas to a liquid. Cool liquid water more and it will become the solid we know as ice.
liquid turns to gas b. liquid to a soolid c solid turns to a gas d solid turns to a liquid
when solid turns in gas without passing in liquid,or gas turns in solid without passing in liquid form, the process is called sublimation. Sublimation
Sublimation is when a solid turns into a gas. E.g Dry ice is a solid but slowly turns into a gas, it doesn't go into a liquid. Evaporation is liquid to gas.
gas -> liquid = condensation liquid -> solid = solidification (freezing) solid -> gas = sublimation gas -> solid = deposition solid -> liquid = melting liquid -> solid = vaporization
The answer would be sublimation which is when a solid turns into a gas without going through the liquid state.
To get a solid to a liquid you have to apply heat and melt it, and to get a liquid to a gas it has to evaporate. If you are talking about a solid going into a gas, then I don't know.
The gas can't generally turn straight into a solid, it has to change into a liquid and then a solid. When a gas turns into a liquid, the particles go closer together into groups and condensate. When the liquid turns into a solid, the particles all compress into a small space thus making a solid object.-----------------------------------------------------------------------But the phenomenon of change from a gas to a solid is also very known and is called deposition.
liquid-solid: solidification solid-liquid: fusion solid-gas(&vice versa): sublimation
There are three states of matter: gas, liquid and solid. The melting point is where a solid turns to liquid. The freezing point is where a liquid turns to solid.
evaporation is when a liquid turns into a gas. sublimation is when a solid directly turns into a gas.
is When a gas turns to a liquid or solid
the answer is gas, ( 3h * 7h)
