The Legend of Korra is said to come out mid-2012, but nothing is for certain yet.
The movie "The Last Airbender" directed and produced by M. Night Shymalan is the closest you can get to a spin-off. It does not resemble the original series as much as the Avatar: The Last Airbender fans wanted it to.
No they won't they kicked out episode two of the legend of Korra and so did iTunes and even the website kicked it out too and I'm so mad!

No, they are not going to make another season 2, but there are 14 episodes in season 2 and a total of 4 seasons in The Legend of Korra TV series.
No one knows if Aang will have kids or not, however it can be safely said that he probably will. After all, the avatar gets reincarnated into the next element once he/she dies, so if Aang died and didn't have kids, there would be no airbenders left at all. This would mean that when the avatar was supposed to be reincarnated as an airbender, there would be none to reincarnate as and the avatar cycle would be broken.
There was no Book 4, so no DVD can be released. The Last Airbender TV series ended with Book 3, but the story continued in a comic-book series 'Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Promise'. A spin-off TV series set in the same universe but many decades after the events of The Last Airbender called 'The Legend of Korra' is ongoing.
It was released April 14,2012 on Nickelodean and they decided to add 14 more episodes to the season.
Yes, there will be a sequel. On July 21, 2010, Nickelodeon announced that it had given the go-ahead for the creation of a sequel, titled, "The Legend of Korra." Nickelodeon said in a release that "The Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after the events of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' and follows the adventures of the Avatar after Aang - a passionate, rebellious, and fearless teenaged girl from the Southern Water Tribe named Korra." http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2010/07/21/avatar-the-last-airbender-nickelodeon-greenlights-tv-sequel-the-legend-of-korra/
