He shows the effect of Tiny Tims death and of his own lonely passing
The ghost takes Scrooge to the Corn Exchange - Here Scrooge would have been seen on a daily bases in his familiar place. On his visit with the ghost Scrooge hears business men speak of a sudden death and asking what will happen to the deceased properties. The ghost does not get involved in any discussion throughout his visitation to Scrooge
The answer from the Ghost is "I see a vacant seat,in the poor chimney-corner, and a crutch without an owner, carefully preserved. If these shadows remain unaltered by the Future, the child will die.''
The third ghost, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, shows Scrooge a glimpse of his own future where he sees his own death and the impact his life and actions have had on those around him. It serves as a warning to Scrooge to change his ways and make amends for his past behaviors before it is too late.
The four spirits who visit Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol" are the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come (or Future), and Jacob Marley's ghost. Each spirit helps to teach Scrooge a lesson about compassion and generosity.
The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come did not speak to Scrooge. All the other spirits observed by Scrooge during his "education" were unaware of his presence and did not interact with him on any way. This includes the rich ghosts throwing money to the poor woman, the characters in the party at Scrooges early employer etc. The Spirits and Ghosts which did speak to Scrooge were Marley, The Ghost of Christmas past and the Ghost of Christmas Present.
