The liver also produces the endocrine hormone thrombopoeitin, which stimulate the production of platelets. It makes angiotensinogen, a hormone that affects blood pressure. The stomach secretes stomach acid (exocrine) as well as gastrin (an hormone that works within the stomach). The duodenum secretes mucus (exocrine) as well as gastrin, cholecystokinin, and secretin (endocrine). While the testicles and ovaries do have endocrine function, they produce no exocrine secretions.
