Judaism and Christianity
This depends on the time period. Today, Asia Minor is under Turkish control and the Holy Sites of the Monotheistic faiths are under Israeli and Palestinian control. The most recent empire to control both areas was the Ottoman Empire, which lost control of the Levant region in 1917.
Israel is probably the country with the largest variety of holy sites for different faiths (Judaism, Samaritanism, Christianity, Islam, Baha'i, Druze, etc.) However, other countries also have holy sites that are multi-religious. India has a number of Sufi Tombs that are holy for both Muslims and Hindus. The Tombs of Ezra and Ezekiel in Iraq are holy for Jews, Muslims, and Mandaeans. The Chinese religions (Shenism, Daoism, etc.) often share holy sites and temples.
There are many holy books to help sustain different faiths. There are Catholic holy books, there are Jewish holy books, there are Muslim holy books, there are Christian holy books, and many other types of holy books for differing faiths. It helps to know which faith you are wanting to learn about. There are many online sources for differing faiths.
Yes- South Africa is a multi-cultural country and all religions are permitted, so there are a variety of faiths and each tends to have its own holy book. The most common holy book is the Bible, which is the Holy Book for both Christians and Jews and the Koran for Muslims. Other faiths, such as Hindus, have their own holy books.
Jerusalem - Sacred to Muslims, Jews, and Christians.
To force Muslims from holy sites
There are several Christian holy sites in Israel, most near to Jerusalem. Probably the most important is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, but there is also the Via Dolorossa, Golgotha, Mount Zion, Tomb of the Virgin, Grotto of Gethsemane, the Chapel of the Ascension, and the Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem at St. James Cathedral. Outside of the Jerusalem area, there are a few sites in the Galilee (especially near to Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee) and there are also several ruins near Ceasarea from the time of Jesus, which many Christians find moving. There are also some Christian holy sites close to Israel, but not in Israel. There is Mount Nebo in Jordan, the supposed resting place of Moses. There is also Saint Catherine's Monastery in Egypt which guards the supposed site of Mount Sinai.
Most religions have holy sites, including the Christians, Jews, Muslims and Catholics.
there is none
Yes
Jerusalem, while figuring prominently in all three faiths, is most central to Jewish teachings than the teachings of any other faith. Furthermore, Israel as proven that it can maintain an Old City where all faiths can worship freely at their holy sites. (Palestinian claims about difficulty of access are about entry to Jerusalem as a whole, not any restrictions in the Old City.)
