In the account of the Ten Commandments as found in the twentieth chapter of Exodus, the commandments are written without any divisions or sections. Many interpreters have divided them in many different ways. For example, the first three commandments may be seen as referring to our relationship with God, and the remaining seven deal with our relationships with people, which may be the division to which this question refers; but the Book of Exodus makes no such distinction or division.
