Zinc and Tin
Most cans are made from aluminum or steel. I am not sure which is most common of these two. Only aluminum of these two is an element, and this might be the desired answer, but in fact the aluminum used in cans is not a pure element but rather an alloy including small amounts of other metals.
The two most common metals used to make knives are steel and iron.
Copper (electrical wiring and hot water pipes) and aluminum (high voltage cables and soda drink cans).
copper, bronze and iron in that order
The answer is a string and two cans.
Gold and platinum are two shiny metals commonly used to make high-quality jewelry due to their durability, luster, and resistance to tarnishing.
H2SO4 is not metals. These two can go together and make H2.
Steel is magnetic, but aluminum is not - therefore if you have a pile of cans, a magnet will pick up the steel ones, leaving the aluminum ones behind !
Fusing two metals
Two different metals are used to make a bimetallic strip because each metal expands and contracts at different rates when heated or cooled. This difference in thermal expansion causes the strip to bend, making it useful in applications such as thermostats and thermal switches.
There are two major uses for it. It is used to coat food cans, to keep them from rusting. Tin has low toxicity, so you can safely store food in tin-plated steel cans. It is also used to make solder, which is used to join electrical components into circuits.
Two common metals used as nuclear fuels are uranium and plutonium. Uranium is the most widely used fuel in nuclear reactors, while plutonium is used as a fuel in some types of reactors, such as fast breeder reactors.
