The tendons and the muscle.
The two tendons that are attached to the patella are: the quadriceps tendon, which attaches above, and the patellar tendon, which attaches on the bottom
Tendons connect muscles to bones. It is important not to confuse tendons with ligaments which connect two bones together.

It is the tough, fibrous tendons that actually attach the muscle to the bones of the skeleton. Generally, tendons attach to at least two different bones to create a lever for the muscles to act upon - the tendons at one end of the muscle belly being attached to one bone, and at the other end, the tendon/s attaches to the other bone. The fibrous tissue surrounding the muscle is all continuous with the tendon at each end.
Feet abducts, everts, and planterflexes due to the Peroneal Tendons. The tendons connects the peroneus brevis muscles and the peroneus longus to bone that when enabled, it will create movement of the feet.
The biceps muscle is located in the front area of the upper arm. The biceps muscle helps to stabilize the large bone in the upper arm (the humerus) in the shoulder socket. It also helps to accelerate and decelerate the arm during overhead activities, like tennis or pitching. The biceps tendons keep the biceps muscle attached to the shoulder at one end and the elbow at the other end. Tendons are strong cord-like structures that connect each end of the biceps muscle to bones. At one end of the biceps muscle, tendons connect the biceps to the shoulder in two places.
