There are no two real numbers that multiply to 960 and add to 2; however the two complex numbers: (1 + i√959) and (1 - i√959) will.

However, if you want two numbers that multiply together to negative 960 and add to (positive) 2, then 32 and -30 will.

Alternatively, if you want two numbers that multiply together to negative 960 and add to negative 2, then -32 and 30 will.
