Exodus Chapter 4 verses 1 through 7: AND Moses answered and said, But behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD has not appeared unto you. 2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod. 3 And He said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. 4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth your hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught, and it became a rod in his hand: 5 That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared unto you. 6 And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now your hand into your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. 7 And he said, Put your hand into your bosom again. And he put his hand into is bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.

(Exodus ch.3-4) God tells Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, He provides Moses with signs of prophecy, and He tells Moses that Aaron will speak to Pharaoh together with him.
Moses' strength is to face danger, face pharaoh, and had the right to speak God's words for God.
Moses was looking after the flocks of sheep, when God did speak to him, he attracted Moses while talking to him from te burning bush and asking him to go to Pharaoh.
Moses is believed to have spoken ancient Egyptian as well as the Hebrew language. It is likely that he could also speak Midianite, as he lived among the Midianites for a period of time.
As Moses stammered Aaron spoke for him, he was responsible for getting the golden calf made, when there was war and Moses kept his hands up the Israelites did well, but when Moses got tired as he was old and it fell the enemies did well.

After Moses ha fled Egypt God came unto him in the form of a burning bush and told him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt due to the forced labor they underwent for Pharaoh. Moses protested saying he was not a great speaker so God allowed Aaron to speak for him. Moses appeared before he elders and turned his staff into a serpent so they would believe him. He then performed the miracle before Pharaoh but God had hardened his heart so he would not allow the Israelites to leave. After the the death of the first born son, with Passover for the Israelites, Pharaoh chased them out of Egypt. Moses then received the Ten Commandments and the miracle of manna.
If you mean why didn't God just free them since he is omnipotent this is because he wanted humans to have free will and that he would not interfere with the people or countries on Earth. If you are then asking then why did he do the 10 plagues in Egypt. This is because Moses was given a choice by God to free them and he did it in his own will and the plagues were not affecting the free will they were signs to Ramses (Pharaoh of Egypt) that God was real and to let his people go.
