It's called a Snowflake appaloosa.
If the white spots are confined mainly to the back and rump, it's a blanket. If they are scattered all over it, it's a snowflake.
The primary color of an appaloosa can include bay, black, chestnut, palomino, or others, but the distinctive marking is the leopard-like spotting that appears on a portion of its coat. These spots can appear as dark-on-light ot light-on-dark.

The color of their fur is pure white with dark black spots. They can also have a smoky gray or yellowish fur. The spots could be dark gray instead of dark black spots.
Appaloosa is both a breed and a coloring found in equines. Appaloosa the breeds: Comes from the USA, the Nez Perce tribe selected horses based on color and their abilities for hunting buffalo and endurance. They were built much like a Anglo-Arabian, or Akhal-Teke originally, but when the US cavalry destroyed most of the horses there wasn't enough of the original horses to continue the breed as it was. So breeders added some Thoroughbred and mainly Quarter Horse blood to get a stock type/ ranch horse with the leopard spotting color. Appaloosa the color: This color has been around for a long time and comes in several forms. Leopard: A white body with darker spots. Blanket: A solid colored horse with white over the hips/ hindquarters, which may or may not have spots. It can even be roan. Snowflake: A dark body with light colored, usually white spots. Varnish: A type of roan pattern that typically only carries dark hair over the face, joints, and possibly over the back. There are various other patterns found within the appaloosa color genetics.
Dalmatian

No not really, Dark spots are areas of low resistance to the x-ray which means its gettin through easier, White is High resistance like Bone.. Depends on where they are though...
yes but mine has black zeros on it*<=-)
A horse of a dark color, neither gray nor white, and having no spots.
Donkey colors do not equate directly with those of a horse and I am not seeing the term Liver show up on sites dedicated to donkey genetics. You mention liver and white but donkeys colors are based on body color, point color and trim color so the white may or may not refer to point color. The black coat color of the appaloosa mare could be aaEe or aaEE. If the mare is aaEE she can only produce a non-red foal. How that will interact with the Jack's color is unknown however, the control of red and non-red in donkeys and horses is the same so if the mare is EE the foal's base coat color will be dark if she is Ee and Liver is a red based color there is a 50% chance that the foal will be red.If the appaloosa mare is homozygous for the leopard complex gene (Lp) any foal produced will haveappaloosa spotting.
