Gym Leader Winona
Swablu: Level 29
Tropius: Level 29
Pelipper: Level 30
Skarmory: Level 31
Altaria: Level 33
The real brat of this pack is Skarmory, whose Steel Wing attack can be brutal. Winona will also not hesitate to keep feeding her Pokémon Hyper Potions to prolong the battle. Once you beat Winona, you'll get the Feather Badge, which allows you to command Pokémon up to Level 70, even if received through trade. You'll also be able to Fly the friendly skies and get around the map much faster. Winona will also present you with the TM40 (Aerial Ace). Teach it to a Flying Pokémon for extra aerial power.
The gym leader of Fortree City's gym...Specializes in flying type Pokemon
defeat winona first
No, Aerial Ace is not a purchasable TM in Pokemon Emerald. You can obtain it by defeating Winona.
winona, the flying gym leader, the strongest type Pokemon would be electric, ice, and fire.
Number 6 in the hoen region
No, you don't get it until you defeat Winona (the 6th gym).
None of the gym leaders use Flying-type pokemon. If you want to face a Flying-type gym, you can battle against Winona in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and the ORAS remakes. Sheβs located on the southwestern side of Fortree.
I have not played Pokemon Emerald for a while, but I do remember where an area where ice-type Pokemon flourished was.It was IN an Island OR in an underwater cavern away from the mainland. I remember it was hard to find. When you find it I think you find Regiice there as well... NOTE: this cavern might be inaccesible until AFTER you beat Winona. You should still try though. A chance to be a pesky Gym Leader AND find Regiice is a BIG opportunity.
It is in For Tree City. Leader Winona, careful! The bitch's got power.
Go to Fortree City. Fight Gym Leader Winona. Win. Then get the HM Fly. ^^
You get aerial ace when you defeat Winona the gym leader in Fortree city.
Ice does 4x damage to the Dragon/Flying Altaria - though you'll have to use an Ice-type attack on a Water-type, since Ice-types aren't available at that point without trading.
