The PS/2 ports connect a mouse and keyboard, while the game port connects game controllers. Parallel and serial ports connect older printers and PDA devices. Most current input devices use the USB port, of which there are usually several available on a modern computer. Firewire ports connect high-speed devices, including DV cameras and Firewire hard drives. Another high-speed hard drive connector is the eSATA port.
"Firewire" is the term used for a certain type of serial port on computers. Similar uses are USB. The Name is 1394 for "FireWire". The term firewire was meant to express that it was a faster connection than standard serial or parallel ports.

At first no as they are separate technologies (USB- Universal Serial Bus, Firewire- IEEE 1394a/Firewire 400), so you cannot connect a usb to a firewall or visa versa. There are ways however. These include purchasing two expansion cards (PCI, ISA or SCSI depending on the type and space left on your motherboard). OR purchasing a Hub/adapter that connects in either a USB or Firewire port, and accommodates at least one USB and one Firewire port. However, there is also a newer type of Firewire (Firewire 800) which is under the standard of IEEE 1894b. This offers double the speed in transfer compared to the IEEE 1394a, however neither a USB cable of anytype (USB, or USB 2.0) or Firewire 1394a cable can fit into a 1894b port or visa versa. There may well be hubs/adapters for these too. USB and Firewire- Both are Serial Ports. Both offering Plug and Play/Hot Swapping capabilities (Depending on your Computer's hardware and software). Hope this Helps J
There are several computers in the Macintosh range from the Mac Mini to the Mac Pro. What ports you have depends on the type of Mac you have but they will have ports such as: Gigabit Ethernet port Mini DisplayPort Audio in/out SD card slot FireWire 800 port USB 2.0 ports Optical digital audio input and output TOSLINK ports Analog stereo line-level input and output minijacks
The number of ports on a computer depends on the type of computer it is. The type of ports they have--for example USB, headphone, or HDMI--also varies greatly from computer to computer.
This type of adaptor is commonly available in high street shops in scotland. Also the airport.
A FireWire card adds a FireWire socket to your computer. FireWire is a type of cable and plug (like the more widespread USB) that is used to connect some video cameras, hard discs and audio equipment to a computer.
A compact flash adapter is used to connect an SD card to a CF type slot. You can purchase this type of adapter from retailers such as Amazon and eBay.
voltage is 220volts, they use the three prong English-type plug socket although adaptors are readily available
"Electric adapter" is a quite vague term, can you specify what type of an electrical adapter you are asking about?
