I don't know how to add info to my question but I live on Western Long Island in New York and I saw this today. It was an animal swimming in a small stream near my house. It wasn't that big. It was maybe the size of a squirrel. The waters are pretty cold right now, and we just had a snow storm. It was swimming back and forth to different side of the creek going into different holes, and then coming back out. I was thinking it may be a beaver or a muskrat. I'm not too sure. I've never seen anything like it around here. What is it? Please be specific if you know for sure. (I've added photos below of the creature and an example of what it was burying itself into)

Nobody knows but it could be an ape or something.
It depends what you mean. The answer could be carnivorous or it could be scavengers. It can also be a type of animal like a shark or lion. Feel free to add comments and improve the answer.
it could be a marsh land but it depends on the type of animal it is. It could be a desert, marsh land, by the river or even in meadows so it depends on the type of species they are
A condor has no animal enemies but it is possible for an animal to eat it but its only active enemies are humans also it could depend on the type of condor.
If you mean by an animal, than most likely yes. Depending on what type of animal it is, if it has a large enough mouth it could probably swallow you whole.
A moose is the largest animal in the deer family. While I could not find an animal called "gunnue", there is an animal called a Gnu, which is another name for a Wildebeest. The Wildebeest is part of the Antelope family.
Could you please provide me with the pair of animal species and type you are referring to so I can determine if it is correct?
Only a very large caiman or anaconda could bring down a jaguar.
Depends on religion and type of animal. Voodoo I believe is fairly prominent on this, but depending on what was done it could be a curse or blessing for protection.
an arctic fox is a fast animal, it could out run any animal.. except dogs!
