M4 Commando? Is that some video game weapon? The M4 carbine and variants (such as the CQBR) use the 5.56 cartridge. Standard is 62 grains, although heavier grain bullets are recommended for shorter barrel lengths. Colt did market a 9x19mm variant of the CAR-15 under the name "Commando", but it's not considered an M4 variant.
Depends on the Caliber and grain of bullet. You can shoot a .22 m4 accurately probably 100-150 yards. Then with the 5.56/.223 round can be shot 600-659 yards accurately.
Well it depends on the type of gear box and motor in the gun. A m4 with metal gear box would be a good choice for a fast shooting m4.
m4 <><><> You would have to define better. The M4 has a greater range, the AK a heavier bullet, the M4 a faster bullet, you can carry more ammo for an M4, the AK needs less maintenance, the M4 has a higher rate of fire- and so on.
5.56mm
The cartridge most commonly used with the M4 is the 62 grain M855 or SS109.
@ 3 miles
The M-16 Carbine or M4 use a 5.56x45 Nato round or the civilian version .223 Remington
The gas propelling the bullet is tapped, and operates the bolt mechanism.

um an m4 carbine is a gun last time i checked, and i don't think a gun would be able to shoot a bullet with a paper hammer. so i would say none.
I'm assuming you're talking about the Commando in Call of Duty: Black Ops. It looks like a Colt M4, of which variation I'm not sure. Perhaps an M4A1 or M4A2? I can't really be sure, the game doesn't provide enough information about it.
Yes it does, unless your barrel is stamped .223 .
