In the United States, they must first obtain a Bachelor's Degree from a college or university (typically a 4-year program) and then obtain a Juris Doctor degree from a law school (typically a 3-year program). Why would a lawyer go to school to be a lawyer?? No point, just like doing primary school again.
Most Lawyers Go To A 4 year Regular College for courses on Speaking, English Government, public policy ect... Then Go To a Specialized Law School For 3 years . they will also have to pass a bar exam. if they cannot pass the bar exam , the whole education would be a waste . :(
