There is no such type of Diabetes.
Type 1 is an autoimmune disease caused by your antibodies fighting off the insulin producing cells in your pancreas.
Type 2 is caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. Sugar does not cause it.
Type 1 Diabetes is acquired through genetics, and you can NOT get it from too much sugar intake. Type 2 Diabetes can also be through genetics, or it can be from too much sugar intake/obesity. Type 1 Diabetes is NOT acquired through diet/obesity/sugar. It is completely unavoidable.
Too much sugar or too many other refined (processed) carbohydrates can cause diabetes type 2. However, not all cases of diabetes are caused by too much sugar or too many refined (processed) carbohydrates.
There are two main types of diabetes: type I or juvenile diabetes, and type II or adult-onset diabetes. The risk of both type I and type II diabetes is affected by genetics. Most people with diabetes have type II diabetes. Your risk of type II diabetes is much lower if you are a healthy weight, eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly. If you have diabetes it is very important to keep your blood sugar levels controlled. Because people with diabetes have trouble converting glucose to energy watching carbohydrate intake is very important. Carbohydrates are converted to glucose by the body an under performing pancreas does not secrete enough insulin for the body to convert the glucose so monitoring your carbohydrate intake becomes very important. that is why you see so many sugar free diabetic foods.
No matter which type of Diabetes you have, both diet and excercise are crucial for living a stable and happy life. It will take quite the lifestyle changes, but once you get into the routine of closely monitoring your sugar intake and continue to exercise, things will be much easier.
