The /bin directory contains binary executable programs that are common in Unix and also need to be referenced as part of the boot process (so they are always there).
Successfully compiling a program does not place anything in the /bin folder. The /bin folder should only be used by common, binary executable programs and can only be accessed by the root account.
In summary, there is no correlation between compiling a program and the /bin directory.
