Well chances are it isn't freon at all. It is most likely r-134a refrigerant. You can get a can for around ten bucks at Walmart. I recommend getting a gauge as well so you don't overcharge it. Shake can well. Turn car on, Ac on Max,( MAKE SURE COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING) and connect it to the blue capped pipe connected to the A/C components. Mine is on compressor itself. Charge it up and check the gauge every so often.
