They are known as RTS games or Real Time Strategy games, if you've ever played Age of Empire its almost exactly like that, except i think Warcraft has a better storyline, but if you havn't played Age of Empires than basically Warcraft and Warcraft II and Warcraft III is a game where you control a group of people, some of the people, known as peons or peasants depending on the race you playing as, can build buildings to make new units, upgrades, or just to defend your little town from invading enemies. and then you have units that are meant for fighting, like grunts or warriors, or archers or axethrowers, and the game just progresses and you go onto newer settings and fight new enemies while getting better and better units and buildings. FUN GAME if you like the RTS style, for me once i started playing it i couldn't stop, even the very first one with its not as up to date graphics was addicting. 10.0 outta 10.0 for that game from me at least :D
