Its a parliamentary democracy. Head of the executive power is the Premiere. Head of the state is the president. President is also the chief of the armed forces (chief commanding), but the ministry of defense is under the defense minister.
According to the government plans it will be imported in 2011.
Bulgaria stopped being Communist in 1989. It's been Capitalist ever since.

Bulgaria, like other countries in Eastern Europe, soon had a Communist government.
Bulgaria's government is horrible, mostly because some Russian people called Communists, took all of our food and gold. Bulgaria, were I was born, used to be a great place to live. I wasn't born in the year of the Communists, but I have heard about it. Still, Bulgaria makes a great vacation site.
