The name of the joint should be primary cartilage joint as per my opinion. Others may say that it is the suture type of joint.
A joint that does not allow any movement is called a synarthrosis joint. This type of joint can be found in the skull, where two bones have a suture line that is immovable. An example is the joint between the two parietal bones of the skull.
The shoulder joint is a ball and socket joint, which is the type that allows the greatest range of movement. it allows the arm to move forward and backward (as when you swing your arms while walking); abduction and adduction (as in jumping jacks); and many intermediate movements.

If you mean the knee joint it is flexion and extension in any running movement.
When a patient has pain in a joint, a careful physical examination is needed to determine what type of movement is affected and if there is any swelling present.

Any nerve serving a muscle that produces a movement at a joint does innervate the joint and the skin over the joint.
Biaxial joints allow for movement in two planes or axes. A common example of a biaxial joint is the wrist, which allow for movement side to side, and also allows for movement up and down.
