The majority of Bahrain is completely covered in deserts. There are some dried up river beds and underground springs spread out amungst the country, and beach land (if it can be considered different from desert) is also quite common.

The Arabic nation of Bahrain in the Middle East is sometimes called "the land of pearls."
In short: NoBahrain is an island chain of the cost of Qatar in the Persian Gulf. Being an archipelago, each of its 33 islands is seperate from any other land mass. In order for it to be considered a peninsula, one side of the land mass would need to be connected to an even greater land mass. As this is not the case for Bahrain the answer is no.
In Bahrain, the weather is of the Desert type, with high temperatures and few vegetation. However, Bahrain is near the sea so it is very comfortable: like you were in the beach. Humans have planted many plants and are fighting desertification in this country.
