An amp meter connected in series with the load will show whether or not a current is flowing in a circuit.
The single line diagram is circuit diagram where "one-line" is shown to represent three phases of a three phase power system. In addition to showing the ratings and size of electrical equipment and circuit conductors, a properly drawn one-line diagram will also show an electrically correct distribution of power with respect to current flow from the power source to the downstream loads or panelboards.
With the secondary not supplying any load, there is no secondary current and the primary current will be a low-value magnetising current. So, the copper losses, (I2R) will be insignificant.
The capacitor has no resistance which your direct current ohm meter can show.
A line oriented editor uses navigation and other means by line numbers. When you print a line, move to a line, or change something in a line all that is shown is the line itself, and not with the context of what is being changed. Line oriented editors were common when screen or page based editing was not available. These days most text editors will show at least a half to full page of where you are editing so you see the change in context.
