There are no types of metal rust usually

But some are considered as so like fast undergoing metal rust,slow undergoing metal rust and non-rusting metals

Fast undegoing metal rusts are-iron and copper

Slow undergoing are-Nickel oxide.

Non-rusting metals- Gold,Platinum,Palladium,Iridium,Rhodium,Lead,Stainless teel,Mercury.
