Folded Mountains
The water vapor melts and it goes into the mountain
Folded Mountain
Upward mountains are mountains that are formed when blocks of Earth's crust are pushed up by forces inside the Earth
The layers are formed by the deposition of sediments carried by wind, water, or ice.

A good example is that when the Indian Plate collided with the harder Asian Plate, the Indian Plate was pushed underneath, raising the Asian Plate, and the Himalayas was the result - which is still slowly gaining height today.

Folded Mountains
Dome mountains are created when hot molten material is pushed upward over the sedimentary rock layers, forming a dome shape. The magma does not reach the surface as with a volcano.
Nobody built the Matterhorn. It is a mountain. It was built by geological forces which pushed up the Alps.
Contradicting forces could make it possible for a mountain range to be continually pushed up but not get any higher. It could be continually pushed up while at the same time experiencing an equal amount of wind erosion resulting in it staying at the same level.
When two continental plates collide, the crust is pushed upward and mighty mountain ranges are produced Ex: Mount Everest (Himalayas)
Pushed to the Limit was created in 1992.
rocky moutains form when rocks are being pushed together.
Folded mountains form when rock layers are squeezed together and pushed upward. If you take a pile of paper on a table top and push on opposite edges of the pile, you will see how a folded mountain forms. They can appear crunched up together. They are ranges that are formed at a convergent boundary.
