You need a carbon filter for diesel fumes
The fuel filter is a canister type located near the right rear wheel
You need to have a special filter wrench to do it, which is a cup-type as opposed to a band-type. Filter is cartridge not spin-on.
You need an air filter and a fuel filter. On the larger models there is also an oil filter.
It depends on the type of filter... different filters are designed differently. You would need to tell us the model or type of filter.
The big plug in the bottom of the oil pan contains a cartage type filter.
The gas filter is on the underside of the car about one or two feet ahead of the rear wheel on the passenger side of the vehicle. The filter is sometimes covered by a metal can type casing or an orange plastic type cylindrical covering.
The 1989 Mercedes Benz 300E came equipped in a 3.0L L6 engine. It has a canister type fuel filter which will be located underneath the car and forward of the fuel tank in the fuel line. The OE replacement fuel filter is Fram #G3737.
oil filter is on top of engine, your wll need a 32mm socket to unscrew plastic housing by intake manifold, filter is cartidge type, not metal screw on type.
10w-30
Not sure what type you have but, I have a DL station wagon and the fuel filter is located under the hood on the drivers side by the strut tower.
Read your owners manual to see what type of oil weight you need. By weight I mean 10w30, 5w30 etc. Your manual should also tell you what type of filter to buy too.
