No, methane has no oxygen; it is one carbon atom bonded to four hydrogen atoms.

Also, to answer your actual question, think about what it's made of or just look for yourself. Being composed of only hydrogen and carbon, it's quite logically a hydrocarbon. Those are all molecules - i.e., covalently bonded.
