use a tin of emulsion darlinggg <-------- daaarling, clearly you know nothing. for rubber rain boots to look good, do not paint them. go out and buy a nice colourful shiny pair for yourself. paint peels, and any boots which you are likely to paint are usually work boots with thicker rubber. lighter rainboots with thinner rubber fit your feet better and are much hooter. yeah i know everything
