What type of weather is in a tropical rainforest?

The plant life all depend on heavy rainfall. Tropical rainforests receive showery weather and torrential thunderstorms. Sub-tropical rainforests receive steadier rains with bursts of torrential heavy showers. The rainforests receive flow of abundant moisture from the oceans and have strong lift mechanisms, such as winds blowing up terrain slopes. Or there are semipermanent convergence zones as often are seen in the tropics.

The climate is hot and wet all year round. Rainfall occurs almost everyday by 3 or 4 pm. It occurs in torrential downpours and with squalls and heavy thunderstorms. On average there are 100 to 200 thunderstorms every year. Tropical rain forests receive over 2000 mm of rainfall every year. It has a very humid climate. Everyday is more or less the same. Temperatures range from 25 degrees C to 29 degrees C. There are no seasons and it gets the same amount of light all year round.
