There are nice blades reasonable at most sports stores. The better choice for a child is the type where all the wheels are the same size. If your child is just learning, an inexpensive set is very reasonable and will not waste money. As we moms know, a must have toy will be tomorrow's charity donation. One note of caution, buy a set that fits the child's feet right now. Until s/he learns, the rigid boot needs to fit. Put a pair of heavily padded socks on your child and fit the skates over the socks. This is another reason to buy inexpensive first blades. Another good investment is a book on blade maintenance. Because roller blades are different than skates, a manual on how to deal with them is wise.

But if you have a healty heart dont wory about it.Also if you've had any recent surgery do not ride roller coasters.Thats about all i know. It is best to send your blades to a professional to sharpen your blades. It takes precision tools, skill, and attention to details. Actually you are better off purchasing new blades when the old ones are dull. If not done correctly the sharpening can cause the blades to heat up. In professional use on clean hair, blades should last 6 months to a year and sometimes more.
