Her Majesty the Queen uses a special shampoo made up for her by Philip Kingsley, the eminent trichologist and hair expert. You won't ever find her using mass market, shop-bought brands. The shampoo is personalised to suit the Queen's hair needs and made up to a secret formula. Nobody else uses this shampoo as it is unique and one-of-a-kind and made only for her to use. Her sister Princess Margaret, however, was rather fond of Pantene. Before the Pantene brand was bought by Procter & Gamble in the 1980's, Pantene was a very expensive and luxurious Swiss brand of shampoo that was only sold in posh department stores in America and the bottle used to have a gold top. Princess Margaret had Pantene imported for her specially as she had bought some once during an overseas trip to the USA and loved it.
