All GM cars use Dexron Transmission Fluid. It may say Dexron III or Dexron VI. You can put either in your car. It used to be Dexron II, but they stopped making it so you just use whatever Dexron currently is on stores shelves. It's fairly common. Dexron III ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid).
Dextron II
The 1996 Chevy Camaro automatic transmission has a fluid capacity of 7.3 quarts. You can check the automatic transmission fluid level with the transmission dipstick.
The correct automatic transmission fluid for that vehicle is written on the transmission dipstick.
You can check your automatic transmission fluid in your 1992 Chevy Cavalier with the transmission dipstick. The dipstick will have marks that indicate whether it is full or low one quart.
Standard or automatic takes fluid.

Check the dipstick, it will tell what fluid to use in that automatic transmission.
It is written on the transmission dip stick what type of fluid is used in that automatic transmission.
The transmission fluid capacity is 6.9 quarts (it requires Dexron III fluid).
A 2004 Chevy Tracker uses standard Dextron ATF transmission fluid. This transmission fluid is used extensively among Chevy automatic transmissions.
