There are many types of asexual reproduction. One type is Fission, which is when the offspring sprout from a seed produced by the parent. Another type is Budding, in which the organism grows in a part on its parent and the "pops" off. Another type is Sporulation, in which the parent organism releases spores and a new organism grows from there. Another is Regeneration, in which organisms are able to regrow lost parts. Another is vegatative propagation In asexual reproduction, there is only one parent and the offspring has identical traits and looks identical to its parent and each other.

There are many types of asexual reproduction: fission (by dividing into 2.), budding (two cells a mother and a much smaller daughter cell), vegetative reproduction (formation of many tiny plantlets),
spore formation (multiple spores common in some bacteria), fragmentation (seen in worms and sea stars) and agamogenesis (doesn't require a male sex cell).
