I am aware of none. After the introduction of gunpowder, castles became obsolete very quickly. However, they were replaced by forts made of natural stone, artificial stone, compacted earth, wood, or a combination of these.
Motte and bailey castles, Stone keep castles and Concentric castles
concentric castles came next

No, all castles are different in some way. These are the different types of castles: * Motte and Bailey castles (made out of wood) * Stone keep castles or just stone castles (made out of stone) * Concentric castles (also made out of stone)
The castles that came after Motte and Bailey Castles were Stone Castles. This was an improvement to Motte and Bailey Castles because Motte and Bailey castles were made out of wood. Wood burns easily, rots quickly and isn't very strong. Stone castles, however were made of stone(obiously). Stone doesn't burn easily, doesn't rot and is very strong.
This depends on what type of castle your referring to. In the Norman times, there were two different types of castles built. There were Motte and Bailey castles and Stone keep castles (Stone castles). The Motte and Bailey castles were made out of wood and the Stone keep castles were made out of stone (obviously).
All castles that exist today are made from stone because stone lasts for a long time. In total there were three types of castles: Stone Keep castles (Stone castles), Motte and Bailey castles and Concentric castles. The Stone Keep castles were made out of stone along with the Concentric Castles and still stand to this day as great monuments. The Motte and Bailey castles, however were made out of wood and have all rotted away to leave none left standing today.
The types were mott and bailey. Stone keep castles, Military castles, castles for royalty, rich, lords, and nyone who could afford a castle
The usefulness of stone castles came to an end with the invention of the cannon - the Turks used these with great success during the Crusades - if my memory serves me well.
stone castles were built with stone
Yes, there are many different types of castles. There are motte and bailey castles, concentric castles and stone keep castles. They were built all over England by King William in the 11th and 12th century.
motte and bailey castles were the first castles built by william and later stone castles came around they were first rectangular but then were made circular which was better defence. e.t.c. ;-)
