Life before the dinosaurs was full of giant reptiles like Dimetrodon which were ancient reptiles. There were also ancient amphibians a lot like Mudskippers. Most of the creatures living in the Permian area were big. Before the Permian era ,in the Carboniferous era there were giant invertebrates. And before that there were sea creatures such as sea scorpions which could grow huge. Very first life forms were microorganisms which you can't see to the naked eye.
There are five types of dinosaurs.
dinosaurs
There was absolutely no life on land before the dinosaurs. Every living creature was in the sea before dinosaurs roamed the Earth.
Before dinosaurs existed, all of life could be found in the sea. There was absolutely no hint of life on land. There were giant sea scorpions, orthocones, etc.
The Age of Dinosaurs is actually called the Mesozoic era. Its name means "middle life," as it comes after the earliest complex life but before the most recent life forms.
All dinosaurs are vertebrates.
Life did not start after the dinosaurs were wiped out. Life on Earth started billions of years before that. The asteroid wiped out a large portion of life on earth, but not all of it. Some things survived.
Before dinosaurs, the Earth was primarily inhabited by earlier forms of life, including amphibians, reptiles, and various types of plants. The late Paleozoic era featured the dominance of amphibians, while the early Mesozoic era saw the rise of reptiles. The first true dinosaurs appeared during the Triassic period, evolving from earlier archosaurian reptiles. Additionally, the Permian period, which preceded the Mesozoic, was marked by the diversification of life forms leading up to the age of dinosaurs.
there was no dinosaurs during the ice age
there were no types of water dinosaurs. Diosaurs only lived on land.
Not dinosaurs as we traditionally think of them. "Classic" dinosaurs went extinict long before any people were around. However, scientists now know that one group of dinosaurs lives to this day: birds. Birds of various types have long been hunted by humans.
Dinosaurs dominated chordate life on Earth for about 160 million years before their sudden extinction. Their dominion lasted from the Triassic Period to the end of the Cretaceous.
