My best guess would be around 2 x 1027
(that's 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)
See the bottom calculations.....
SOMEONE ELSE
about 500,000,000,000,000 molecules are in the average human body.
That's really rough, though: there are trillions of cells (no one agrees just how many), and each cells has hundreds or thousands of molecules.
ANOTHER PERSON: what this guy wrote is wrong there are about 3 billion DNA molecules in the human body.
--YET ANOTHER PERSON: The first figure is way way out.
500,000,000,000,000= 5x 1014
-That's way too low. There are trillions (x 1012) of human cells in the body, then there are 10 times as many bacterial cells as well (although these are much smaller). In any case each cell contains (at the very least) trillions or billions of molecules (you're including water right?).
6 x 10 23 molecules = 18g of water.
Average human is maybe 65kg.
70% water= 45.5kg
45500g divided by 18g = 2527 -- the number of mols water
2527 x 6 x 10 23= 1.516 x 10 27 --- This is the baseline
Accounting for all the DNA, proteins and lipids, I'd say you'd wanna put a a bit more on that figure, although not much more:the molecular weight of all these is way higher.
Mostly all of them have a carbon base, which makes them organic. The most common are oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen. And then there are more complex molecules like carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids.
absolutely loads
cells are composed our body
You will find cells in any living thing or person.
there are alot more than 4 types but heres 4: blood cells, muscle cells, neurons( nerve cells), skin cells
Human chromosome #1 contains the largest single molecule in the human body. It is one very long molecule of DNA. The DNA is wrapped around molecules of proteins called histones (shaped somewhat like spools) to protect it and provide strength.
There are three types of embryonic cells; endoderm, mesoderm, and ectoderm. In the human body there are many different types of cells, more than two. They are grouped into tissue types. We have four different tissues; connective, nervous, muscular, and epithelial. The two major groups of cell types in the human body are somatic cells and gamete cells.
There are about 630 muscles in the human body.
Here are 4 molecules found in the human body: water, glucose, ammonia and glutamate.
There are three types of muscles found in the human body. The muscles found in the body are the visceral, cardiac, and skeletal muscles.
Covalent bonds.
The human body has 4 primary tissue types: epithelium, connective tissue, nervous tissue, and muscle.
You will find cells in any living thing or person.
Monosaccharides,Disaccharides these are the type of carbohydrate exist in human body.
Lipids are molecules that are fat soluble. Steroids, phospholipids and triglycerides are lipids that are found in the human body.
Three percent mass of the human body is constituted by Nitrogen. It is found in nucleic acid, proteins and other organic molecules. It is found in lungs as the primary gas in air.
synovial membrane
The Carbohydrates found in the human body are Glycogen, which is made up of branched chains of Glucose molecules, and it is located in the muscles and in the liver.
There are three types of blood vessels. There are veins, arteries, and capillaries.
Somatic cells.
