Gamma rays
Energy (E) of photons of electromagnetic radiation is given by Planck's equation ..E = hf .. h = Planck constant (6.625^-34 Js), f = frequency (Hz)So E is proportional to frequency .. radiation with the highest frequency is Gamma
Here is the electromagnetic spectrum arranged according to wavelength (with the lowest wavelength first): ~Radio waves ~Microwaves ~Infra - red ~Visible light ~Ultra violet ~X - rays ~Gamma rays ~High - energy gamma rays (AKA: cosmic rays, as virtually all electromagnetic radiation at this energy level comes from space.) The correct answer is "energy".
valence shell.....yes yes yes haha good bye losers
It's a line spectrum because of the quantization of energy- meaning you only see energy with levels n=1,2,3.... One would never see the energy level n=2.8 for instance- that would be the case if it were continuous rather than a line spectrum.
An emission spectrum is the spectrum of frequencies of the electromagnetic radiation emitted (by an atom or molecule) during a transition from a high energy to a low energy level.
Basically, energy is emitted when an electron falls from a higher energy level to a lower energy level. Such energy is emitted as electromagnetic waves, which in certain cases can be visible light.
The brightness has nothing to do with it. Colors closer to the violet end have more energy.
No. The emission and absorption spectrum covers everything from UHF radio to X-rays. (There are no energy level transitions that correspond to the low energy HF or VHF radio bands and below. The lowest-energy transition is the one at 1420 MHz/21 cm.)
No direct relation; electromagnetic waves are transmitted by photons. However, electromagnetic waves are often caused by the acceleration of electric charges, and those charges are usually electrons. Also, electromagnetic waves are emitted and absorbed when an electron (in an atom) changes to another energy level.

The 3rd energy level is the highest occupied energy level for chlorine with seven electrons.
During a flame test the electrons of the metal tested absorb some of the heat and jump to a higher energy level. The electrons then settle back to a lower, mosre stable level, releasing the energy as light of a given wavelength.
"Absorbed"
The highest energy level is called the "electronegativity".
The highest energy level is called the "electronegativity".
The highest occupies energy level in aluminum is the 3rd energy level. Its electron configuration is 1s22s22p63s23p1.
