well this is quite complex for a simple physics unit
take a cube
the volume formula for a cube is length x width x height
if length x width is cm2 (squared)
then LxWxH is cm3 (Cubed)
Hope this helps!
You would use Volume.
millilitres
milliliter
You would typically use liters or gallons to measure the volume of a hot tub.
you would use centimetres to measure the volume for a slice of bread
You would use liters (L) to measure the volume of a soda container in the metric system.
Cubic centimetres.
liters or milliliters or cups.
volume= length times width times hight.
Liter
You would typically use fluid ounces (oz) or cups (c) to measure the volume of a mayo jar in customary units.
You would use meters or feet to measure the depth of Lake Michigan.
