The movie "Tropic Thunder" comes out in theaters in the US on August 15th, 2008.
The term "tropics" comes from the Greek word "tropikos," which means "turning" or "to turn." This refers to the points where the sun appears to turn back in the sky, marked by the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. These latitudes are significant because they delineate the regions where the sun is directly overhead at noon during the solstices, resulting in the characteristic warm climates of the tropics.
This is incorrect. A northerly wind comes from the north and moves toward the south.
Top remember it goes by the alphabet cancer comes befor Capricorn so it's first=)
A wind that comes from the west is called a "westerly" wind. This term is used in meteorology to describe winds that blow from the west toward the east. Westerly winds are common in many regions and can influence weather patterns and ocean currents.
In a story, the climax is where all of the action comes to a head. It is usually the most exciting part of the story, and most everything that comes afterward is falling action that moves the story toward a conclusion.
yes
Only the Tropic of Capricorn passes through Bolivia. The Equator is located further north, the Tropic of Cancer is even further north, while the Arctic Circle, Antarctic Circle, and Tropic of Cancer are located far to the south.
If you live north of the tropic of Cancer, yes. If you live south of the tropic of Capricorn, no; it comes from the north. Otherwise it can come from north, south or directly overhead. It depends on the time of year.
This is ultimately the result of temperature differences; the energy comes from sunlight. Note that air masses need to travel in BOTH directions, since the air can't just accumulate in one place.
First, its tortilla, and second. It comes from Mexico regions. :)
After lots of reasearch Scientists have said that oxygen comes from the water that is sea. It comes on the coastal regions and the trees in the coastal region make it further spred and the other tree which gets it spreads it and so on and on and on..... Thats why we usually say to the kids that the tree supplies oxygen.
