On a 1996 GMC Jimmy, the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve is typically located on the engine intake manifold, near the back of the engine. It's mounted to the intake manifold and connected to the exhaust system via a metal pipe. To access it, you may need to remove some components for better visibility and clearance. Always refer to a repair manual for specific details and diagrams for your vehicle model.
