Battlefield 3 will feature an array of vehicles the player can commandeer and destroy in both the single-player and multi-player campaign. These range from simple four-wheel drive cars to armoured personnel carriers to heavy main battle tanks to super sonic jet fighters. Vehicles featured in Battlefield 2 will return in Battlefield 3.

No.
There are many reasons to say that it is good and to say that it is bad. For example, I may think that since it has big maps with air, land, and water vehicles it is a great game. You may like much smaller maps with no vehicles. Battlefield 3 does have a bunch of close quarters maps for those people who like smaller maps now with the release of Close Quarters though. Battlefield 3 tries to be as realistic as possible, whereas you may like unrealistic games. It is all a matter of opinion.
In Battlefield 3 online multiplayer, the player can unlock gadget by gaining points. The "SOFLAM" gadget exclusive to the recon class is unlocked at 26 000 recon score. The SOFLAM is an immobile laser designator that can 'paint' enemy vehicles for guided weapons.
