To lungs (from R venticle): pulmonary artery From lungs (to L atrium): pulmonary vein
The Capillaries transfers waste filled blood from the tissues into the Pulmonary circulation.capillariesTiny blood vessels that pass food and oxygen to cells and receive waste from cells.
There are four pulmonary veins and are large blood vessels that receive oxygenated blood from the lungs and drain into the left atrium of the heart.

Capillaries
Pulmonary circulation through the blood vessels and capillaries.
Pulmonary vein, left atrium, left ventricle, aorta, arteries ,then to the capillaries
The smallest blood vessels are the capillaries.
Starting from the right atrium, blood flows into the right ventricle then into the pulmonary arteries. The blood branches throughout the pulmonary trunk and down to the level of the pulmonary capillaries. At this level carbon dioxide dissolves out of the blood and the erythrocytes (red blood cells) pick up oxygen. The blood is collected in the pulmonary veins and taken back to the left atrium for distribution throughout the body.
Oxygen rich blood is taken though the pulmonary capillaries to the pulmonary venules. It is returned to the heart through the pulmonary veins that empty into the left atrium. From the left atrium, the oxygen rich blood is pumped into the left ventricle and out of the heart to the rest of the body though the aorta.
