Mount Nyamuragira is an active volcano in the Virunga Mountains of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, situated about 25 km north of Lake Kivu. It has been described as Africa's most active volcano and has erupted over 30 times since 1880. As well as eruptions from the summit, there have been numerous eruptions from the flanks of the volcano, creating new smaller volcanoes that have lasted only for a short time
Volcanoes do not normally form in the middle of continental or oceanic plates, however when one does form it is the result of a hotspot. It is unknown what causes a hotspot to form at a location, however examples of such volcanoes are Yellowstone and the Hawaiian Islands. The formation of these volcanoes in the middle of plates at first puzzled scientists until the theory of plate tectonics advanced and the theory of hotspots began to take hold. Often times a hotspot can be confirmed as they have a tendency to stay stationary and will leave a trail of past eruptions. In the example of the Hawaiian Islands, it is believed that the current center of the hotspot is just off the soutwest coast of the big island, and the chain of islands and seamounts at one point were in this location. This shows that the Pacific plate has moved across all that area and currently the active eruptions are on the big island. For the Yellowstone Supervolcano, the Snake river plain is a combination of atleast 15 known supercalderas that were former Yellowstone volcanoes.
I'm not shure about this but I think it's unicorn volcano, Pizza volcano or the volcano in congo
