they won the war
seven years' war
Which war? Canada and Britain were in a lot of wars. In the war of 1812 Britain did lose control of parts of Canada. In WWII Britain had no control of Canada.
not Canada in general, but when the british had control, yes, this being the War of 1812. The attacks were unsuccessful.
they gained control of Canada and french lands east of the Mississippi river.
An English Army captured the last French Army and when the French and Indian War ended. England controlled Canada.
Canada was still largley under British control during this time. Meaning that if Great Britain went to war it was Canada's duty to follow them.
if u are referring to the war of 1812, Canada did not want the us they were allies with the british who were blockading our ships in the us and stopping our trade with other countries <3 so the US wanted to take control over Canada so they could regain trade and defet the british :D
yes Canada fought in world war 1 because Canada was a British colony, and when British was at the war, Canada found itself at the war automatically
Britain controlled the eastern portion of Canada following the French and Indian War.The French and Indian War.
United Kingdom gained control of Canada by a war
in WWI, Canada's military was still under British rule, thus when the British went to war, Canada went to war. There was no delay. In WWII Canada was no longer tied to British military action. Canada wished to make a statement that Canada was choosing to go to war, not being pulled in by the British. It was agreed that Canada would wait one week after the British declared war. This would send a clear statement to the world that it was Canada, not Britain, that was declaring war.
